About our text messaging programs

Hope Church offers optional text messaging programs for church communications. Depending on the program you choose, messages may include Bible reading reminders, event and ministry reminders, volunteer notifications, schedule changes, and church announcements.

Each program’s signup information describes the types of messages you will receive and their expected frequency.

Enrollment and consent

You may subscribe using the instructions provided for a particular program, such as texting a designated keyword to our church number or completing an opt-in form. Some programs may require a confirmation reply before messages begin.

By subscribing, you consent to receive automated text messages from Hope Church for the program or programs you select. You confirm that you own the mobile number provided or are authorized to enroll it.

Consent is voluntary and is not a condition of any purchase, donation, church attendance, or participation in church activities. Subscribing to one program does not automatically enroll you in unrelated messaging programs.

Message frequency and timing

Message frequency varies by program and is disclosed when you subscribe. Additional messages may include subscription confirmations and responses to your requests.

Scheduled delivery times, where provided, are approximate. Actual delivery may vary because of carrier or network conditions.

Costs

Hope Church does not charge a subscription fee. Message and data rates may apply under your mobile carrier’s plan.

Unsubscribing and rejoining

Text STOP to the Hope Church number from which you receive messages to unsubscribe. You may receive a final message confirming your request.

A STOP request may stop all Hope Church messaging from that sending number, including messages from other programs using the same number.

To request re-enrollment, text START and follow the instructions provided. Additional program selection or confirmation may be required.

Delivery

Message delivery depends on mobile carrier support and network availability. Delivery is not guaranteed, and carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

Changes to programs or terms

Hope Church may update or discontinue its messaging programs and may revise these terms. Updated terms will be published on this page with a revised effective date.

Changes to these terms do not automatically expand your consent to unrelated messaging programs. We will obtain additional consent when needed.
