Hope Lutheran Streaming Privacy Policy
Last updated: October 8, 2026
Hope Lutheran Church in Lake Stevens, Washington operates Hope Lutheran Streaming to support its worship-service audio/video team. This policy covers the streaming validation application.
Information we access and why
The application uses YouTube API Services with read-only authorization to inspect the church’s channel and scheduled broadcasts. This includes channel and broadcast identifiers, titles, scheduled times, visibility, broadcast status and stream assignments. We use this information to identify configuration problems and help authorized staff prepare for worship services.
The application does not request your Google password, collect viewer profiles or download video content. Its validation component does not create, modify, delete or start broadcasts.
Storage and sharing
Authorization tokens are stored in private files on computers administered by the church, outside public source-code repositories. Broadcast information and check results may appear in operational reports and troubleshooting records available to authorized church personnel and service providers supporting those activities.
We do not sell this information or use it for advertising. Stored YouTube broadcast metadata is refreshed or deleted within 30 days. Authorization credentials are retained while the integration remains enabled and authorized.
Your choices
You can revoke access through Google’s account permissions.
For questions, complaints, or deletion requests, contact worship@hopelakestevens.com. We will delete application-held data covered by a deletion request within seven days. Deleting our copies does not delete broadcasts or other information held by YouTube.
Google’s handling of information is described in the Google Privacy Policy.
